Lower Great Southern Hockey Association ("LGSHA")
The LowerGreat Southern Hockey Association (“LGSHA”) has been successful in their secondRegional Association GSSTA funding of $5,000.00 to be utilised in their LowerGreat Southern Talented Athlete Program (“TAP”) established in 2016 with thefinancial assistance of GSSTA.
TheLGSHA will expand their program this year with the financial assistance ofGSSTA by adding an extra session of regular game play to develop strategy andtactics, engaging local supplier “Sustainable Motion” to develop player bodystrength and awareness.
SustainableMotion specialise in Human Movement, with the focus on Sport SpecificTraining/Coaching and Injury Prevention, educating the community on how tomaintain sustainability throughout not only their sporting/fitness/coachingcareers, but to maintain this for life.
BevieCollier Owner of Sustainable Motion believes this style of training will leaveeach athlete feeling worked with an added feeling of freedom throughout theirbodies, with the added benefit of improving cognitive function to start theirschool day.
LGSHACoaching Co-ordinator Adam Scott advised that we hope to bring specialistcoaches to the region and develop our players and our local coaches and furtherdevelop our athletes that have already obtained State recognition.
